Prayer in the Bank

If we operated our bank accounts the way we run our prayer life we would be in a great deal of trouble. Imagine if you kept on making deposits into your account but each time you checked your balance there was very little or no money in the account. We would be making demands to speak with the manager,  arguing with the teller, kicking the hole in the wall and even contemplating physical harm to a few people.

Yet we pray prayer after prayer without receiving the result. Now understand that every prayer is heard and none go without an answer. God is not on annual leave neither is He so stressed out by the demands being made on Him that He has switched off the “Royal Telephone” and plugged out His office computer.

Answers are being released as we pray, for God hears the sound of our voice (Jeremiah 29:12).

This is what we do. We pray but then we carry on just as before as if nothing has changed. That’s the key, we don’t believe anything has changed and so we don’t see or access the answer that has been released into the atmosphere.

As we pray, we must pray with expectation and when our prayer is concluded, we must believe that the change has taken place. Things happen in the Spirit, in the invisible realm long before they come into the visual realm. So just because you don’t see it yet doesn’t mean a thing.

Start checking your deposits, check your healing, send in the application, start packing to move, speak the things that you have just prayed for, even if it’s not an actual reality at this moment because the next moment everything could change.

Jesus said “when you pray; believe that you have received that which you have asked for”.

Keep on making your petition. Keep pushing until your answer comes. Delay is not denial; maybe God is processing you before He blesses you.  Pray and receive, pray and receive.

God  wants your joy to be full so He will establish a 100% answer rate.

God bless you,

Pastor Yvonne..
